Center of Hospitality Full-Scale Exercise Actor (Volunteer)

Exercise Overview: The Center of Hospitality Full-Scale Exercise (FSE) seeks to bring convention center personnel, local first responders, state, and federal partners together to perform response actions that would be taken during and after an incident at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC).

This exercise is planned for four hours at the Orange County Convention Center on January 29, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (please note these times are subject to change). The scenario involves a simulated vehicle ramming outside the OCCC and active shooter inside a convention hall. Exercise play will last for approximately 90 minutes.

We appreciate your interest in being an actor and supporting the Center of Hospitality FSE. Please note you may be exposed to loud noises including simulated gunshots, as well as witness simulated traumatic injuries. To participate in this exercise, please read the exercise safety, weapons, and security policies below. To be an actor at this exercise, you must sign and acknowledge the actor waiver stated below.

Your cooperation is highly appreciated and will improve the quality of this exercise and public safety.

Qualifcations:

• Actors must be 18 or older.

Other Information:

We are currently holding training / orientation sessions for actors prior to the exercise. Attending a session is mandatory for participating.
